Saturday, 9 May 2020

Peaking Lights’ Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis – who have lived in Wisconsin, L.A., and Amsterdam—seem to exist on the margins of space and time. Architects of dubby psychedelic pop, the duo laid their cosmic foundations with second album 936 in 2011. The ensuing decade saw their ephemeral sound morph into something more tactile and unpredictable. This transformative spirit lives on in 2019’s Life of the Plants, a collaborative album with dub legend Lee “Scratch” Perry.
